The Sensory Room is designed to be a space in which to decompress. The items in the room must remain in the room. The room should be picked up/organized at the end of your session. Directions
Diffuser Instructions: The Aroma Diffuser User Manual can be found in the large drawer. However, directions are also available here: 1. Keep product straight, remove the upper lid and water cap vertically. 2. Use the cup in the top, small drawer of the cabinet to put water into the diffuser. Do not add hot water. Do not exceed the max fill line. Don’t add water while the diffuser is on. Drop essential oils into the tank vertically. a. Essential oils can be found in the top, small drawer of the cabinet. 3. Install the cover of the main body with the original channel. Rotate the cover to change the position in which the diffuser sprays. 4. Plug the diffuser into the wall. 5. Press “Mist” button 6. Choose the amount of time. 7. To turn the LED on within the diffuser, press the “light” button. a. There are seven different light color options. 8. After use, unplug, dump the remaining water, and rinse the water tank out. 9. Ensure that the diffuser is left unplugged for the next person to use. If anything goes wrong (i.e. the diffuser tips, shuts off on its own, does not turn on, etc.) contact the Office of Title IX and Equity: Accessibility and Accommodations at 660-562-1639. Brown Noise Machine Instructions: The User Manual for the Brown Noise Machine can be found in the bottom, larger drawer in the cabinet. Instructions can also be found here: 1. Power On/Off a. Short press the power button to on/off. 2. Switching Sounds a. Press the forward/backward buttons to switch among all the 30 sounds in sequence. 3. Track list: a. Brown Noise 1 b. Brown Noise 2 c. Adjusting sounds Timer and Night Light Timer a. Press the clock button to set the timer. There are 5 timer light indicators which stand for sound and night light continuously play, 1-hour timer, 2-hour timer, 3-hour timer, and 4-hour timer, respectively 6. Adjusting Continuously Play and Timer Light Indicators a. Press and hold the clock button for more than 2 seconds, then timer light indicators can be manually turned on/off. 7. Adjusting Night Light a. Short press the light button to turn on/off the night light. There are 10 brightness levels in total. Press and hold the light button to select a higher or lower brightness level until the brightness reaches its maximum or minimum. 8. Adjusting Night Light Color a. Press the circle button to switch among 12 colors light in sequence. Press and hold the circle button to switch the previous light color. Short press the circle button to switch the next light color. If the Brown Noise Machine does not work, call the Office of Title IX and Equity, Accessibility and Accommodations at 660-562-1639. LED Light Instructions: To utilize the LED Lamps, use the remote found on top of the cabinet. The remote has: 1. an on/off switch. 2. Six color modes 3. Left and right color mode switch 4. Dimming button 5. Speed increase and speed decrease buttons 6. Three music notes 7.
